Eco Club

Aim
♠ To create awareness and sensitivity among the students about the environment and the need to conserve it.
♠ To enable the members to become the role model and change agents on the conservation front, within the campus and in the community around.
♠ To make all the students in the campus water champions and tree warriors.

Activities
♠ The members ensure cleanliness in public places by removing waste materials and sensitizing the public about responsible waste disposal.
♠ Organizing nature camps for the students in order to equip them for building environmental awareness.
♠ Drive the tree plantation and water conservation campaigns inside the campus in the nearby villages.
♠ Naming and protecting the mango trees grown in the campus.

♠ As part of Eco Club, students cleaned the premises of Seetharkund, Kollengode on 05.02.2022 in collaboration with Aashrayam Rural Development Society and Kollengode, Forest Department, Kollengode.

♠Quiz competition was conducted on the topic "World Environment Day" on 10.06.2022 for the students of Aashrayam College of Arts & Science.

♠ Residential Nature and Trekking camp were conducted in collabaratied with Forest Department on 08th & 09th October 2022. The official Program was inaugurated by Sri.C.V Vinod Kumar, Deputy Range Officer, Nelliyampathy.
